Most of his life, George, fascinated by the heroes of the works of Charles Dickens, traveled extensively in the Midwestern United States, Canada and Brazil. He made a solo 428-kilometer canoe trip through the lakes of Adirondack.
He achieved the highest degree of mastery in the art of survival in the wild and received the nickname “Nessmuk” - Forest Drake from the Indians of the Narragansetta tribe. This nickname became the household name of a knife of his own design.
We slightly modified the appearance of his knife, adding false edge and slightly changing the handle.
